Position Overview
Growthwise is partnering with a well-established, family-owned construction company in San Francisco to hire a Construction Office Administrator. This role supports the daily administrative and compliance needs of a busy construction office and is ideal for someone who values structure, consistency, and being a reliable presence for the team.
The Construction Office Administrator plays a key role in keeping documentation, licensing, and office operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Administer day-to-day office operations for a construction environment
Organize and maintain physical and digital filing systems
Collect, distribute, and track incoming mail and documents
Manage contractor licenses, renewals, certifications, and compliance postings
Maintain training records, calendars, and internal documentation
Assist with construction-related paperwork including lien releases and preliminary notices
Coordinate vendor and supplier documentation requests
Order, stock, and track office and breakroom supplies
Schedule travel, meetings, and company events
Coordinate office equipment maintenance and IT service providers
Provide general administrative support to ensure smooth office operations
Qualifications
Required
Experience in office administration or construction office support
Strong organizational and documentation skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Dependable, punctual, and comfortable working independently
Ability to work fully on-site in San Francisco
Preferred
Prior experience in a construction or contractor office
Familiarity with lien documentation or compliance tracking
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $58,000–$65,000 annually (depending on experience)
