  • Responsibilities

    Our client is seeking an Construction Office Administrator to support accounting and administrative functions for a commercial roofing contractor. This role plays a key part in keeping day-to-day office operations running smoothly, with a strong focus on billing, accounts payable and receivable, lien releases, and general construction-related administrative tasks.

    This position is ideal for someone with construction office experience who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with accounting systems in a fast-paced environment.

    Responsibilities

    • Process billing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable transactions
    • Prepare and track lien releases and related documentation
    • Support construction billing processes, including AIA billing as needed
    • Maintain accurate financial and project-related records
    • Assist with general construction administrative tasks and documentation
    • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely processing of invoices and payments
    • Support month-end and routine accounting workflows
    • Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems

    Requirements

    • Prior administrative or accounting experience in the construction industry preferred
    • Experience with QuickBooks required; QuickBooks Online (QBO) preferred
    • Familiarity with AIA billing strongly preferred
    • Notary Public is a plus, or willingness to obtain certification once in the role
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a construction environment
