    First Montgomery Development is a growing real estate development and construction company specializing in multifamily residential communities throughout the region. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Construction Office Engineer to support our project management and field teams on multifamily new construction projects.

    This position plays a key role in the successful delivery of projects by managing project documentation, supporting cost controls, coordinating communication between stakeholders, and assisting with project closeout activities. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced construction environment and enjoys being a critical part of the project team's success.

    Responsibilities

    Project Administration & Document Control

    Manage and track Requests for Information (RFIs), submittals, and project correspondence.

    Maintain project documentation within Procore and company filing systems.

    Track material procurement status and subcontractor documentation.

    Prepare meeting agendas and record/distribute meeting minutes.

    Monitor drawing revisions and maintain updated project drawings and as-built records.

    Coordinate with municipalities, agencies, inspectors, consultants, and project stakeholders.

    Organize and maintain project files to ensure accurate and timely access to information.

    Support communication between project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, and ownership teams.

    Cost Control Support

    Assist Project Managers with change order administration and tracking.

    Process and track subcontractor and vendor pay applications.

    Create and maintain purchase orders.

    Track company-purchased materials and equipment.

    Maintain accurate cost documentation and assist with project budget tracking.

    Support invoice and contract documentation management.

    Field & Project Support

    Prepare and distribute project progress reports.

    Assist with punch list administration and tracking of outstanding items.

    Support project schedules by monitoring deliverables and deadlines.

    Coordinate project closeout documentation, including warranties, manuals, certifications, and as-built drawings.

    Compile and organize complete closeout packages for project turnover.

    Provide administrative support to field personnel and project management teams as needed.

    Qualifications

    Required

    2+ years of experience in construction project coordination, project administration, or construction management support.

    Experience working on commercial, residential, multifamily, or ground-up construction projects.

    Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

    Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

    Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

    High level of attention to detail and accuracy.

    Preferred

    Experience with multifamily new construction projects.

    Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.

    Experience working with developers, general contractors, and subcontractors.
