We are looking for an experienced construction superintendent who can lead our labor crew and subcontractors. You'll help our construction company plan and manage projects from start to finish for homeowners. Additional responsibilities include daily scheduling, maintaining the safety and compliance of a construction site, and supervising all activities. Responsibilities: • Confirm that every construction project produces a high-quality finished product, supervise construction workers, execute regular on-site inspections, and provide feedback as needed • Provide training for carpenters and lead carpenters when needed • Assist with field crew hiring and evaluations • Run safety meetings on a weekly basis and check job sites for proper safety measures • Assist the office team with estimates by obtaining measurements and quotes from trade partners as needed • Obtain necessary permits for upcoming projects • Develop and maintain a schedule for every project • Material management from ordering to delivery and installation, where applicable Qualifications: • In-depth knowledge of the construction industry and the entire building process, including building codes, blueprints, permits, construction equipment, material resources, construction processes, and project management principles • Physically capable of using heavy equipment and lifting at least 40 pounds • 5 years of prior experience as a general contractor is required for this position; additional management experience preferred Compensation: $30 - $40 hourly
