    If you like seeing a project through to completion, we might have the role for you. Our family-owned remodeling company is looking for an experienced production manager to plan and manage our projects & field crew. You’ll be in charge of managing trade partners, maintaining safety and compliance at the construction site, developing project schedules, communicating regularly with clients, and working with our carpenters to produce excellent craftsmanship. We are looking for someone with many years of construction field experience and a natural ability to lead others. Responsibilities: • Review subcontractor output concerning schedules and success targets to ensure that the project is on track to be completed on time, on budget, and to the highest standards required • Certify that each building project delivers a high-quality end product, oversee construction staff, and perform on-site assessments daily • Provide training for carpenters and lead carpenters when needed • Assist with field crew hiring and evaluations • Run safety meeting on a weekly basis and check job sites for proper safety measures • Assist office team with estimates by obtaining measurements and quotes from trade partners as needed • Obtain necessary permits for upcoming projects • Develop and maintain a schedule for every project Qualifications: • Physically capable of using heavy equipment and lifting at least 40 pounds • Superb organizational, leadership, time-management, and communication skills • You will need a high school diploma for this position, and a bachelor’s degree is preferred • Knowledge of the construction industry and the entire building process, including building permits, building codes, construction equipment, material resources, construction methods, and project management principles • At least 5 years of previous experience as a general contractor required, preferably with some additional managerial experience Compensation: $30 - $40 hourly
