Job description – Project Administrator
American Platinum Builders - a General Contracting Construction company located in Sanford that is looking for a Project Administrator to help with many of the duties surrounding project management. This is a wide-ranging array of tasks, from staying in touch with contractors, scheduling appointment, procuring supplies, visiting worksites and helping to prepare reports.
For this role, you will work with a team of Project Managers and Superintendents, so good communication and collaboration skills are essential. Ultimately, you assist in ensuring our projects meet quality standards and are completed on time and within budget. *This particular role will require some light travel to the jobsite with the PM for certain meetings from time to time.
Responsibilities
Place calls to internal and external customers/vendors
Setup New Job Folder(s)
Track project budgets and expenditures
Assist in writing, distributing, and tracking POs, Subcontracts and Change Orders
Document Collection Tracking and Control
Coordinate meetings
Organize venues
Perform administrative duties
Tracking of projects
Follow Project Management instructions
Keep up-to-date on compliance regulations
Resolving issues related to the project
Permit administration
Track project paperwork via Paperwork Tracking Summary
Skills
Sage Experience Required
Work experience as a Project Administrator, Project Coordinator, or similar role
Hands-on experience with flowcharts, technical documentation, and schedules
Knowledge of project management software (e.g. Microsoft Project)
Solid organization and time-management skills
