We are seeking a detail-oriented Construction Project Coordinator to support project administration for a full-service asphalt paving contractor in the Greater Kansas City area. The Project Coordinator will manage documentation, coordinate with subcontractors, and ensure compliance with project quality standards. This is a full-time, on-site role offering $60,000 - $75,000 annually.

Key Responsibilities - Construction Project Coordinator
- Collaborate with Estimators to set up and maintain accurate project documentation including submittals, wage orders, and change orders
- Serve as a liaison between clients, subcontractors, and internal project teams to resolve issues and communicate project status
- Generate regular progress reports and updates for internal and external stakeholders on an ongoing basis
- Assist in the preparation of project closeout documentation to ensure timely and compliant project completion
- Identify project-related challenges and coordinate with the project team to develop and implement timely solutions
Qualifications - Construction Project Coordinator
- Prior experience as a Project Coordinator, Project Administrator, or Construction Office Coordinator preferred; entry-level candidates with relevant skills encouraged to apply
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with project management software a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to interface professionally with clients, subcontractors, and field teams
Preferred Qualifications - Construction Project Coordinator
- Experience in civil, paving, or heavy highway construction administration
- Familiarity with prevailing wage documentation, certified payroll, or Davis-Bacon compliance
- Prior use of construction management platforms such as Procore, Viewpoint, or similar tools
Physical Requirements - Construction Project Coordinator
- Primarily office-based; occasional visits to active job sites may be required
- Must be able to sit for extended periods and operate standard office equipment throughout the workday
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. on occasion
- Standard Monday through Friday schedule; occasional overtime during peak project periods
