The Construction Project Coordinator supports the construction project management team , ensuring smooth office operations, accurate project documentation, and timely coordination with vendors, subcontractors, and clients. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented administrative professional looking to grow in the construction, home remodeling, or custom home industry.
Maintain office supplies and coordinate orders (toner, paper, Amazon, client gifts, etc.)
Answer phones and route calls to project managers or team members
Create and maintain project files in BuilderTrend , including permits, approvals, and contracts
Assist with pre-construction tasks : order surveys, elevations, benchmarks, and materials
Track selections and coordinate shipments with the Project Manager
Update BuilderTrend with estimates, bids, inspection reports, and job documentation
Prepare final paperwork for job close-outs and client gifts
Support Production by issuing POs and COs, releasing work orders in phases, and notifying accounting of changes or overages
Ensure vendors and subcontractors follow company PO procedures
Assist with employee, client, and subcontractor events and appreciation luncheons
Maintain current knowledge of BuilderTrend software and best practices
Administrative experience in construction, residential remodeling, or custom home projects preferred
Strong organizational and multitasking skills , with attention to detail
Computer proficiency; experience with BuilderTrend or willingness to learn
Strong communication skills for client, team, and vendor coordination
Ability to work independently and anticipate project needs
Located in or near Hilton Head Island, Bluffton, or Hardeeville
Salary range: $40,000 – $45,000
