Project Coordinator

Minneapolis, MN | Direct Hire | $55k-70k

Konik is partnering with a local construction company that is seeking a Project Coordinator to support the successful execution of projects by ensuring tasks, documentation, and communication are well-organized and timely. This role enhances project team efficiency through consistent process execution, document management, and quality control. Plus, this role offers opportunities for a career path and advancement into Project Management Coordinator II or Project Engineer/manager positions.

Project Coordinator Responsibilities:

• Manage project documentation across platforms (drawings, specifications, contracts, purchase orders, insurance certificates, submittals, transmittals, RFIs, bills of lading, LEED documentation, and material records).
• Coordinate project workflows, including change events, commitments, and approvals.
• Support project closeout and archiving processes.
• Audit dashboards, budgets, and reports to identify and resolve irregularities.
• Assist with scheduling, procurement tracking, and field document timing.
• Provide team support with meeting coordination, travel planning, and client events.

Project Coordinator Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of construction project support, steel construction a huge plus
• Strong organizational and time management skills; able to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for working with diverse stakeholders.
• High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality.
• Willingness and ability to learn new industry tools and processes.
• Familiarity with construction documents (bid manuals, scope documents, plans, and specifications).
• Experience with tools such as Procore, Tekla PowerFab, or Bluebeam - Preferred
