    Construction Project Coordinator

    In Person – Santa Maria, CA

    Signs of Success, a growing Architectural and Commercial Sign Construction Company, is seeking a Construction Project Coordinator to help manage and track projects from kickoff through installation.

    This role sits at the center of our operations and works closely with project managers, production staff, installers, and clients to keep projects organized and moving forward.

    Our environment moves quickly and priorities shift as projects evolve. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing multiple moving parts, identifying missing information, and coordinating with the right people to keep work progressing.

    Key Responsibilities

    Project Coordination

    • Maintain and update the company Project Tracker to ensure project status and timelines are accurate • Monitor project progress and follow up with team members to keep work moving forward • Coordinate installation schedules with clients and internal teams

    Installation Preparation

    • Review installation packets to ensure installers have complete information • Confirm materials, permits, and hardware are ready before installations • Coordinate installation logistics with project managers and foremen

    Risk Management

    • Identify projects that may be at risk of delays • Assign and track action items with the appropriate team members • Provide status updates during weekly team meetings

    Team Collaboration

    • Work closely with project managers, estimators, production staff, and installers • Help prioritize work across teams based on installation schedules

    Qualifications

    • Experience working in a construction, trade, or project-based office environment • Strong organizational and coordination skills • Ability to interpret construction drawings and plan sets • Basic job costing, construction math, and time estimation skills • Understanding of fasteners and attachment methods for different materials • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously • Proficiency with spreadsheets and cloud-based software • Experience with QuickBooks or project management software is a plus • Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus
