Construction Project Engineer - Construction - Base Salary to 80k/year - Indianapolis, IN

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and maintenance of project schedules.
  
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors.
  
• Track and manage RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
  
• Collaborate with design teams to ensure constructability and value engineering.
  
• Review drawings and specifications for accuracy and completeness.
  
• Support preconstruction efforts including estimating and scope development.
  
• Maintain project documentation including meeting minutes, logs, and reports.
  
• Prepare and distribute weekly progress reports.
  
• Ensure compliance with company standards and project requirements.
  
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and quality.
  
• Assist with resolving field issues and coordinating solutions.
  
• Support safety and quality control initiatives.
  
• Utilize project management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project).
  
• Support BIM coordination and clash detection processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
  
• 1+ years of experience in construction or engineering, preferably in a design-build environment.
  
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and processes.
  
• Proficiency in project management and design software.
