Salaried Position ranging from $70,000 to $84,000 pending experience
Job Summary
Under the direction of the Project Manager, the Project Engineer manages all aspects of project from inception to completion. Supports the project team by performing all administrative duties to include but not limited to submittal processing, RFI creating and distribution, daily photos, take-offs, reports, meeting minutes, quality control lists, punch lists, etc. You will assist the Project Manager, Lead Superintendent, and Field Superintendent(s) as deemed necessary
General Accountabilities *
· Project Planning and Design: Collaborating with architects and engineers to develop detailed project plans and designs.
· Cost Estimation and Budgeting: Preparing detailed cost estimates and budgets, ensuring the project is financially feasible.
· Scheduling: Developing project schedules and timelines and coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure timely completion.
· Site Management: Overseeing construction activities on-site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
· Resource Allocation: Managing resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to optimize project efficiency.
· Communication: Acting as a liaison between clients, contractors, and other stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication.
· Problem Solving: Addressing any issues that arise during the construction process, from technical challenges to logistical problems.
· Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed project documentation and prepare regular progress reports.
· Perform other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications
· Recently graduated from construction related field, OR proven (1) year of work experience as a Project Engineer or similar role preferred.
· Understanding of construction terminology, and ability to read blueprints
· Strong ability in using MS Office (MS Excel, MS Word, MS Project, and MS PowerPoint)
· Proficient with Procore Construction Software, & PDF editors such as Bluebeam
· Understanding of construction terminology
· Effective multi-tasking ability, written and verbal communication skills, and ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and industry professionals.
· Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
· Strong leadership and team management skills. Must be able to maintain good relationships with department, peers, subcontractors, vendors, and owners.
· Meticulous attention to detail to ensure project specifications are met.
Physical Requirements
The successful candidate must be able to fulfill the physical demands of the job such as walking, stooping, sitting, bending, reaching for overhead files and occasional lifting (must be able to lift up to 25 pounds). Must be able to operate a motor vehicle and perform tasks involving manual dexterity, such as use of a computer and 10-key. Work will at times require more than 8 hours per day or an irregular work week to perform the essential duties of the position. Duties will be performed in an office environment as well as in the field. May require travel to other agencies and/or systems.
