    • Our client is an established commercial construction contractor specializing in complex concrete construction projects throughout the Midwest. They are seeking a Construction Project Manager to oversee commercial construction projects from preconstruction through completion while managing schedules, budgets, subcontractors, customer relationships, and overall project execution. This position requires approximately 20% travel throughout the Midwest, including occasional overnight travel to project sites.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage commercial construction projects from project kickoff through closeout.
    • Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure project milestones and deadlines are achieved.
    • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, vendors, and field personnel throughout all phases of construction.
    • Monitor project budgets, schedules, costs, quality, and overall project performance.
    • Review construction drawings, blueprints, specifications, contracts, and project documentation.
    • Conduct regular jobsite visits to monitor progress, identify field issues, and implement effective solutions.
    • Communicate project status with customers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
    • Coordinate project activities to support on-time and on-budget project completion.
    • Ensure projects are completed in accordance with project requirements, quality standards, and established timelines.

    Qualifications:

    • Experience managing ground-up commercial construction projects.
    • Experience managing construction schedules, subcontractors, project budgets, and field operations.
    • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
    • Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
    • Valid driver's license.
    • Ability to travel approximately 20% throughout the Midwest, including occasional overnight stays.

    Compensation:

    • Base salary in the 80k–110k/year range.
