Our client is a national leader in custom building envelope systems with a specialized façade division headquartered in Dallas, TX. They manage high-impact commercial projects up to 15 million in contract value, delivering fully integrated cladding, waterproofing, and envelope solutions.
They are seeking a full-time Construction Project Manager with direct Division 7 experience to take ownership of full-cycle façade projects. The Construction Project Manager plays a key leadership role in coordinating complex scopes involving custom exteriors, requiring both technical knowledge and proactive problem-solving. The ideal candidate will have a proven background managing Division 7 systems and a hands-on, forward-thinking mindset to anticipate issues and drive field execution.
Responsibilities:
Lead all phases of Division 7 façade projects, from planning and procurement through field execution and closeout
Oversee schedules, budgets, procurement, and logistics in alignment with contract scope and timelines
Drive coordination between internal design, fabrication, and site teams to ensure project alignment
Process submittals, RFIs, change orders, and material tracking with full ownership of project documentation
Maintain Smartsheet tracking tools, status reports, and WBS systems for clear communication
Create installation diagrams, crating plans, and site logistics documents to guide field sequencing
Address job site issues quickly and proactively; resolve conflicts before they impact schedule
Attend weekly internal and contractor meetings; support QA/QC, safety, and compliance protocols
Collaborate directly with superintendents, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain project momentum
Qualifications:
5+ years of project management experience specifically in Division 7 scopes such as waterproofing, insulation, or façade systems
BS/MS in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related discipline preferred
Strong working knowledge of exterior envelope construction and field coordination
Proficient in Smartsheet (or similar), MS Office, and PDF tools like Bluebeam or Adobe
Able to read and interpret shop drawings and fabrication documents
Comfortable working in a fast-paced office with routine site travel as needed
Must bring a proactive, accountable mindset with strong communication and coordination skills
