Construction Project Manager - Commercial GC - Base Salary to 125k/year - Dublin, OH

• Our client is a family-owned GC that takes on projects nationwide, with the majority in the region. They work on everything from big box retail to offices, medical buildings, hospitality, and warehouses. All private sector construction ranging from 3 to 20 million dollars. They have been in business since 1977, and pride themselves on their repeat work earned and their collaborative culture.
• In this role, the Construction Project Manager will be responsible for the overall direction, administration, completion, and financial outcome of assigned projects. The Construction Project Manager will oversee, direct, and manage Superintendents, labor, subcontractors, and consultants. Some duties involved developing and managing the project schedule, writing scopes for subcontractors, managing the project budget, and serving as primary contact to the Owner’s Rep and Design team for each project assigned. The Construction Project Manager will be visiting local projects and out of state sites every 3-4 weeks. 

Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze blueprints, specs, contracts, and other documentation
• Collaborate with Engineers, Architects, and other essential job performers
• Choose subcontractors and develop scopes of work for various disciplines
• Develop and maintain project schedules
• Work with Superintendent to schedule subcontracted work and track material procurement
• Work with project team to obtain permits
• Be responsible and proactive to any delays or situations that arise
• Work in conjunction with the various team members and stakeholders throughout the construction process
• Coordinate closely with high profile clients through all stages of assigned projects
• Work primarily out of the Dublin office, with visits on site for local projects as needed, and occasional out of state visits (~every 3-4 weeks)
• Build and maintain strong client relationships

Qualifications:

• 3+ years PM experience at a commercial GC, handling projects from 3+ million dollars
  
• 5+ years experience in commercial construction
• Retail and/or office construction experience is a plus
• Must be able to work full time in the Dublin, OH office, with occasional travel for site walks
• Proficiency with Excel required, PM software experience preferred
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret plans and specifications

Compensation:

• Base salary in the 100k – 125k/year range
