They are seeking a Construction Project Manager with a strong background in hotel construction and development to lead and oversee hospitality projects from concept to completion. The ideal candidate will bring deep industry knowledge, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality hotel developments on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets for hotel construction projects.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, designers, and contractors to ensure alignment with brand standards and project goals.
Manage all phases of hotel construction, including site preparation, permitting, procurement, and build-out.
Monitor construction progress, quality control, and compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
Serve as the primary liaison between ownership, development teams, hotel operators, and external vendors.
Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and milestones to senior leadership.
Oversee project budgets, track expenditures, and implement cost-saving strategies without compromising quality.
Review and approve invoices, change orders, and contractor payments.
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Resolve construction and design challenges swiftly and effectively.
Ensure hotel design and construction align with brand identity, guest experience goals, and operational efficiency.
Collaborate with interior designers and FF&E teams to deliver a cohesive final product.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
5+years of experience in project management with a focus on hotel or hospitality construction.
Strong understanding of hotel development cycles, permitting processes, and hospitality design standards.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore, AutoCAD).
