    Job Description

    You are an experienced Project Manager with a minimum of 3-5 years post-graduate experience looking for the next step or are currently undertaking a similar role in a similar environment.

    Specific job expectations:

    • Lead site feasibility assessments, including performing technical review and management of 3rd party contractors, to support the deployment of EV charging deployment.
    • Develop and maintain design standards for EV charger deployment by jurisdiction including relevant building codes and internal design requirements.
    • Delivery of SMART outcomes, including zero HSSE incidents, below target cost for installation per site per charge points, and successful commission of sites required by plan

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage client teams, including architects, engineers and supply chain to deliver compliant projects
    • Can analyze, track and effectively manage critical milestone activities to avoid schedule slip.
    • Work closely with program manager and commercial teams to contribute to the success of the project and raise concerns/ask for support early.
    • Production of formal project status reports and other reports as required
    • Monitor the progress of multiple construction projects simultaneously to ensure that the approved design standards are being applied correctly
    • Manage the interface between all suppliers through monthly trackers and weekly reviews
    • Manage the flow of project information between the project team through regular meetings and written communications
    • Forecast and update key project milestones
    • Develop and own the risk management process.
    • Provide technical support to owners, architects, general contractors and regional stakeholders
    • Rapid response to RFIs from the field
    • Provide expertise for cost control, value engineering, and constructability guidance where required
    • Independent review of status reports, drawing submittals, timelines and costs from architects, contractors and suppliers
    • Client management – assist in developing excellent working relationships with Clients, with a view towards maximizing new opportunities
    • Strategic Thinking - provide advice to project teams on approaches that can be adopted to successfully achieve both clients’ objectives and business objectives
    • Knowledge management – ensure that key information and learnings generated from each project is captured
    • Process improvement – Identify ways to improve internal systems and processes
    • Contribute to annual budgets and planning
    • Travel – to various job sites around Houston, Texas

    Bachelor’s degree in one of the following disciplines: Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture

    • Construction / Project Management Professional certification
    • OSHA-10
    • Willingness to work on-site 5 days per week
    • Strong organizational and management skills – ability to work effectively and collaboratively with the broader team
    • Strong verbal and written communication
    • Effective presentation skills
    • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Procore, and construction project management tools
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience required
    • The candidate should have experience working on Oil and Gas corporate RE facilities
