    Targeted HR Consulting is partnering with a reputable contractor specializing in municipal utility infrastructure—including Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants—to hire a full-time Construction Project Manager. With a regional presence across Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, and Oklahoma, our client has earned its reputation through quality work and strong team values.

    This role is ideal for someone with a background in heavy civil construction, particularly in water/wastewater treatment plant projects, who is looking for a hybrid work option with minimal travel.

    What You’ll Do

    • Lead project delivery from contract award through final completion.

    • Manage subcontractors, issue purchase orders, and handle materials logistics.

    • Work closely with estimating and field teams to maintain project schedules and budgets.

    • Conduct occasional site visits (1–2 times/month or as needed) to support teams and ensure project culture aligns with company values.

    • Coordinate site safety, subcontractor activity, scheduling, and crew effectiveness.

    • Build strong relationships with engineers, owners, and subcontractors to ensure project alignment.

    • Resolve issues proactively through communication and collaboration.

    • Oversee progress billings, invoicing, and timely payments.

    • Represent the company in all pre-construction, progress, and closeout meetings.

    • Drive improvements in quality, efficiency, and cost control.

    What We’re Looking For

    • 5+ years of construction experience (heavy civil preferred).

    • Direct experience with municipal utility or water/wastewater treatment projects highly preferred.

    • Degree or technical training in Construction Management or a related field.

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and troubleshoot in a fast-paced environment.

    • Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and collaboration.

    • Must be authorized to work in the US without work visa sponsorship.

    $90,000-$130,000 per year
