Shain Development, Inc. is seeking a Luxury Residential Home Construction Project Manager to join our team. This position requires the candidate to accompany the owner and travel to job sites in the West Los Angeles area.
We are only looking for candidates local to Los Angeles. Please do not apply if you are not currently in Los Angeles!
The Project Manager will oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation. SALARY DOE.
Responsibilities:
Read architectural plans
Assist with bidding projects
Obtain permits and licenses
Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation
Allocate resources for assigned projects
Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs
Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications
Take detailed notes at project meetings
Qualifications:
Previous experience in construction management or other related fields, and ability to read architectural plans
Familiarity with construction management software and construction scheduling
Strong leadership qualities
Strong negotiation skills
Deadline and detail-oriented
Strong computer experience required: Excel, Word
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to follow directions and take initiative when required
Ability to multitask
Positive and good working attitude
For the right candidate, we are willing to accept entry-level applicants and are willing to train.
