  • Responsibilities

    We are looking for a candidate:

    • With a strong background in project management and a desire to work in a TEAM environment with support and input from multiple angles that values safety above all else.
    • With the ability to prioritize, schedule, and logistically manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
    • Who will collaborate with the team to facilitate new building construction/renovation projects.

     

    The Project Manager Responsibilities:

    • Identify and manage the project risks.
    • Collaborate with engineers, and architects to determine the specifications of the project
    • Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met
    • Oversee the work of contractors, laborers, mechanics etc. and give them guidance when needed
    • Embed a strong safety culture in the project team, contractors and workers on site.
    • Follow up on projects to ensure proper execution.
    • Prepare and implement progress reports on projects.
    • Commission and Handover Projects
    • Follow up on punch lists to verify projects are completed and coordinated with all stakeholders.
    • Process Pay Applications and Invoices
    • Build and update project construction schedules

     

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • 5+ years of experience in industrial/commercial project management.
    • Organizational and project management skills, along with effective communication skills.
    • Skilled at managing contractors and consultants.
    • Experience in delivering projects on time and within budget.

     

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience in the wire manufacturing industry is a plus
    • Project Management certifications.
    • Has basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, building systems, utilities, and repair procedures relating to facilities management as well a life safety monitoring and control systems for equipment.
    • Good computing and software skills
    • OSHA 10 Hour
    • Travel up to 50% of the time
