Spartan Emergency Water Removal is seeking a highly organized and results-driven Construction Project Manager to oversee residential and light commercial reconstruction projects following property damage. This role is responsible for managing project schedules, coordinating subcontractors, controlling budgets, and serving as the primary point of contact for homeowners and insurance adjusters throughout the reconstruction process.
The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring quality workmanship, strong customer communication, and profitable project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage multiple construction projects from start to completion, ensuring work is completed on schedule, within budget, and to company quality standards.
Develop and maintain project schedules while coordinating subcontractors, vendors, and daily construction activities.
Conduct regular job site visits to monitor progress, verify quality of work, and address issues quickly.
Coordinate ordering, delivery, and staging of materials to ensure projects remain on schedule.
Manage project budgets, track expenses, and maintain profitability by identifying change orders and out-of-scope work.
Maintain accurate project documentation including schedules, notes, photos, invoices, and permits within project management software.
Serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners, providing regular project updates and ensuring a positive customer experience.
Communicate and coordinate with insurance adjusters regarding scope, approvals, and project progress.
Facilitate project walkthroughs, final inspections, and punch-list completion prior to job closeout.
Ensure all work complies with building codes, permit requirements, and company standards.
Qualifications
2-5 years of experience in construction management, restoration, or a related field.
Strong understanding of construction scopes, estimates, and buidling processes.
Experience working with subcontractors and coordinating multiple trades.
Proficiency with scheduling and project management software.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
Physical Requirements
Ability to walk job sites and navigate uneven terrain.
Ability to climb stairs and stand for extended periods.
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Ability to travel between job sites.
