Job Title: Project Manager Objective: Schedule and plan a Porch Company construction project from beginning to end, following the project plans, designer specifications, and local building codes. Provide effective communication between the homeowner, the designer, the carpentry crew, and subcontractors. Deliver projects on time, on budget, and with excellent quality. Project Managers are responsible for cultivating an excellent client experience. Responsibilities: • Meet with the designer and fully digest the scope & budget for the project. • Plan project startup through an internal planning meeting, a startup checklist, & client PCM. • Order all materials (keep an eye on long lead time items). • Fully manage client relationship, including expectations, progress, changes, invoicing, & all other communications. • Schedule subcontractors appropriately. • Monitor job progress & costs. Make adjustments as needed. • Authorize payment of job-related invoices. • Obtain required inspections (codes and internal inspection). • Execute all change orders through BuilderTrend. • Maintain accurate job schedules through BuilderTrend. • Close out jobs effectively and quickly, completing all punch list items. Administrative Duties: • Turn in receipts and track all budgeting. • Turn in client project logs on Tuesdays and Fridays by the end of the day. Corporate Duties: • Strive to maintain an encouraging & positive working environment. • Represent The Porch Company well – both externally and internally. Physical Requirements: • Must pass a drug test. Characteristics: • Have a positive attitude. • Begin and follow through energetically with a task. • Punctual and respects the time of others. • Takes an active interest in developing job knowledge and skills • Gets along well with others. • Exhibit leadership awareness, maintaining a high level of focus on the big picture, improving systems, and collaborating across all teams. Qualifications: • 5+ years of related experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. • Proficiency in interpreting blueprints and following construction methods. • Strong organizational and time-management skills. • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. • Commitment to safety and quality workmanship. Compensation: $75,000 - $90,000 yearly
