Repair Coordinator
Full-Time, Monday–Friday, Non-Exempt / Hourly 7:30 am-4 pm
$18-$20 per hour, based on experience
Job Summary:
The Repair Coordinator is an integral part of our Home Preservation team. The RC operates as a liaison between homeowners and contractors, guiding the homeowners through the construction repair process. The RC is also responsible keeping accurate documentation of ongoing repairs.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a construction liaison between the homeowner, the contractor, and partner agencies.
- Manage contracts/documents for contracted work
- Review, develop and input work scope information into data system
- Work with partner families to review program process, work scopes, and/or energy audits
- Work with homeowners to help them understand their role in the construction process
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with state, local, and partner agencies
- Attend neighborhood partner meetings related to housing and home improvements
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license and good driving record
- Basic knowledge of remodeling/home repair practices and terms
- Strong computer skills: MS Word, MS Excel, Google products
- Able to lift and maneuver up to 50 pounds
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience managing positive relationships with subcontractors
- Experience working with diverse populations
- Strong organizational skills with an attention to detail
- Experience developing and reviewing scopes
