    Mooresville, NC | Direct Hire | $75,000 (flexible)


    Konik is partnering with an electrical contractor seeking a Safety Coordinator. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned construction professional with a strong background in safety. You will oversee safety operations and initiatives, ensuring compliance with safety programs and regulations, and fostering a culture of safety on the work site.

    Construction Safety Manager Responsibilities:

    • Develop and maintain safety policies, procedures, and programs to ensure regulatory compliance.
    • Conduct regular safety meetings, toolbox talks, and training sessions for employees and contractors.
    • Perform routine safety inspections and audits of job sites to identify and address potential hazards.
    • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions.
    • Prepare and submit safety reports to management and key stakeholders.
    • Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to ensure adherence to safe work practices.
    • Provide guidance and support on safety-related matters and promote a proactive safety culture.

    Construction Safety Manager Qualifications:

    • 2+ years of experience in construction safety management roles
    • Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and relevant safety regulations; OSHA certification preferred
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills for leading safety meetings and training.
