About the Role

As a Construction Sales/Estimator , you will be the vital connection between clients, design teams, and construction operations. You'll guide homeowners through the custom‑home building process, prepare accurate estimates, and help win profitable projects by delivering exceptional service and precise project costing. Market research shows that residential and remodeling estimators are responsible for developing scopes of work, pricing labor and materials, and ensuring estimates align with project goals and margins.

You will have direct mentorship from the company's owner, providing hands‑on learning and professional development within a fast‑growing, quality‑focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate estimates, bids, and scopes of work for custom home builds and residential construction projects
• Collaborate with design, construction, and operational teams to ensure project feasibility, accuracy, and profitability
• Manage and nurture client relationships while guiding customers through the home‑building process
• Track project costs, assist with budgeting, and support financial decision‑making
• Participate in job lookbacks and continuous improvement of estimating accuracy (a common industry practice for estimators)
• Work closely with the owner to refine proposals that help close sales
• Maintain high standards of communication, organization, and customer service throughout pre‑construction

Requirements

• Experience in residential construction sales or estimating preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple projects and maintain accuracy under deadlines (aligned with industry expectations for estimators)
• Eagerness to learn and grow through direct mentorship from the company owner
• Proficiency with estimating tools, Excel, and construction materials/labor pricing is a strong plus (based on typical estimator qualifications)
• Professional, client‑oriented attitude and commitment to delivering quality results
