  • Responsibilities

    We are looking for an experienced construction superintendent to join our team and build our new construction homes. You'll help our home-building company manage projects from start to finish. Additional responsibilities include daily scheduling, maintaining the safety and compliance of a construction site, and supervising all activities. Responsibilities: • Assess subcontractor progress against timelines and performance targets to ensure that work is completed on schedule and to the highest possible quality • Certify that each building project delivers a high-quality end product, oversee construction staff, and perform on-site assessments daily • Communicate site changes to our drafting department and estimating personnel accurately so that the plans and estimate can be revised to reflect accurate quantities of materials for homes under the Project Manager’s direct control • Perform a detailed framing inspection with the Framer before framing is completed • Develop positive customer relations with each Homeowner based on timely performance; ensure complete customer satisfaction by meeting regularly with homeowners (s) and maintaining effective two-way communication with them • Coordinate the work of all Trade Partners on the job site to avoid conflicts and dry runs • Reduce accidents and delays on construction sites by ensuring strict adherence to health and safety regulations and reporting any problems to the project manager as soon as they arise • Assess subcontractor progress against timelines and performance targets to ensure that work is completed on schedule and to the highest possible quality • Certify that each building project delivers a high-quality end product, oversee construction staff, and perform on-site assessments daily • Reduce accidents and delays on construction sites by ensuring strict adherence to health and safety regulations and reporting any problems to the project manager as soon as they arise Qualifications: • Basic computer skills and ability to use Microsoft Office • Superb organizational, leadership, time-management, and communication skills • Strong problem-solving ability • Self-motivated • Understand standard construction methods and performance criteria for each Trade Partner • Ability to follow the construction schedule, properly schedule subcontractors/vendors, and adjust when obstacles present themselves • Interpret site-specific topography • Understand and implement standard safety practices and procedures • Ability to clearly and concisely communicate while keeping calm and being diplomatic in elevated scenarios • Possess the ability to say “No” to Homeowners without being offensive Compensation: $70,000 - $85,000
