The Construction Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations for site supervision of Sub Contractors and ensuring that project are completed successfully, on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards. ****Education: A degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field preferred or vocational or technical training in construction.
Experience: Construction industry experience is crucial. At least 5 years of experience in construction, Experience as a construction foreman or in a similar supervisory role is beneficial.
Certifications: Some certifications can enhance your qualifications. These may include Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) certifications, first aid/CPR certifications, and Super's License.
Knowledge of Building Codes and Regulations: An understanding of local and national building codes and regulations is crucial to ensure compliance during construction. ** _ _

Budget and Cost Management: Properly Sourcing and vetting labor and qualified sub contractors
Safety Awareness: A strong commitment to safety is crucial. Knowledge of safety protocols and the ability to enforce them on the construction site are important qualifications.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading blue prints, using drop box, scheduling software,Total Station and other relevant tools is often expected. Familiarity with AutoCAD or other design software can be a plus.
Valid Driver's License: A valid driver's license is often required, as Superintendents may need to travel between construction sites.
