About the Role:
Join GOTTFRIED CONSTRUCTION, LLC as a Construction Superintendent and lead exciting projects in Livingston , LA! We are looking for a dynamic leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality construction results.
Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations on construction sites to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Manage and coordinate subcontractors, laborers, and suppliers to maintain project workflow.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes throughout the construction process.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
Communicate effectively with clients, architects, and project managers to provide updates and resolve issues.
Prepare and maintain project documentation, including schedules and reports.
Implement best practices in project management to optimize efficiency and productivity.
Train and mentor team members to enhance skills and promote a positive work environment.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar role in the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and building codes.
Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage diverse teams.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
Relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA, PMP) are a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
