Our construction company is seeking an experienced construction professional with excellent leadership skills. If you're good at managing general contractors, hiring subcontractors, and maintaining safety and compliance at a construction site, then you might be perfect as our next construction superintendent. Our ideal candidate has 5 years of construction field experience and can supervise all site activities and maintain safety compliance at all times. Responsibilities: • Certify that each building project delivers a high-quality end product, oversee construction staff, and perform on-site assessments daily • Require complete adherence to health and safety regulations on construction sites to avoid accidents and delays, and report any problems to the project manager as soon as possible • Maintain a daily record of project progress and home repair updates for the project manager and the homeowner • Discuss the project's costs with clients and make sure the project stays within budget • Employ subcontractors and ensure they have all of the necessary permits Qualifications: • Possesses a deep understanding of the construction industry and the entire building process, including building codes, permits, construction equipment, material resources, project management principles, and construction methods • Must have general contractor license • Strong communication, organizational, leadership, and time-management skills • Proficient in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office software • Must have a high school diploma, bachelor’s degree is preferred for this role Compensation: $85,000 - $125,000 yearly
