    As a well-established commercial and multi-family general contractor, is seeking a Construction Superintendent to join their team in Windham, Maine. This role offers the opportunity to oversee dynamic, high-profile projects locally, while working with a collaborative and experienced field team.

    What You'll Do as the Construction Superintendent:

    • Lead all on-site construction activities, ensuring safety, schedule, and quality standards are met
    • Coordinate subcontractors, trades, and deliveries to keep work progressing efficiently
    • Interpret plans and specs and ensure adherence across phases of construction
    • Monitor labor needs, forecast schedules, and adjust timelines to stay on track
    • Enforce safety protocols and job site compliance across all contractors and visitors
    • Manage procurement of materials and equipment while controlling costs
    • Report project status to senior management and collaborate to solve field challenges

    Must-Haves as the Construction Superintendent:

    • 5+ years of experience as a superintendent or site supervisor on commercial construction projects
    • Proven ability to manage subcontractors and trades with minimal oversight
    • Familiarity with construction schedules, sequencing, and quality control practices
    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
    • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction software platforms
    • Clear communication skills and professional presence on-site

    Nice-to-Haves as the Construction Superintendent:

    • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field
    • Experience with ground-up multi-use or industrial developments
    • OSHA training and/or safety certifications
