    Wylander, a recruiting company specializing in the disaster restoration industry, is recruiting a Construction Superintedent for a full-service restoration company located in Alexandria.

    Project Estimator Compensation and Benefits:

    The Construction Superintendent will work closely with the Project Managers and Estimators to oversee and manage disaster restoration projects from inception to completion. This role requires a hands-on approach, strong communication skills, and the ability to coordinate with multiple teams to ensure timely and quality restoration.

    Construction Superintendent Responsibilities:

    • Assist in managing and overseeing disaster restoration projects, including fire and water damage reconstruction.
    • Coordinate with project managers, estimators, subcontractors, and other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
    • Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Track punch list and supplementary items.
    • Maintain detailed project documentation, including daily logs, photos, schedules, and reports.
    • Communicate effectively with clients and subcontractors, providing updates and addressing concerns promptly.
    • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with industry standards and RAM's required level of quality.
    • Track draw schedules and assist in collecting payments
    • Attend team meetings prepared to update on status of projects
    • Meet municipal inspectors as needed for projects

     

    Construction Superintendent Requirements:

    • 3+ years of experience in residential reconstruction
    • Strong knowledge of residential reconstruction.
    • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
    • Highly motivated, organized, and results-driven.
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple construction jobs.
