    Job Description

    AECOM is seeking a Construction Support Engineer for one of our offices in Sacramento, CA.

    SUMMARY

    This role will be responsible for the technical coordination between Engineering Services and construction teams, supporting review of quality documentation, as-built records, and asset data. This role ensures compliance with civil engineering standards and provides input on bridge assessments and construction activities in the Central Valley.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Support technical coordination between Engineering Services and construction teams (PCM, DB, ICE/ISE).
    • Review Quality Milestone Data Packs (QMDPs), construction objective evidence, and as-built documentation.
    • Assist with technical verification of asset data in Maximo to ensure accurate representation of constructed elements.
    • Evaluate Bridge Quality Assessment Reports and recommend repairs or improvements.
    • Coordinate and participate in meetings with stakeholders to support active construction activities in the Central Valley.
    • Help develop and implement civil engineering standards and technical requirements.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    • BA/BS + 6 Years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Railway civil, track and system design and construction experience
    • Proficiency and knowledge of computer software applications such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Visio
    • Knowledge of and ability to apply engineering judgment in areas of design and construction engineering on transportation projects
    • Organized and thorough
    • Degree in engineering, construction management, or other closely related curriculum
