Rebuild Construction Technician Yakima, WA (On-site) $25 to $35 per hour DOE | Full-time

SERVPRO of Yakima is looking for an experienced Construction Technician to join our rebuild team. We are looking for someone with a strong background in drywall and general construction who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a team.

In this role, you will help restore residential and commercial properties after fire, water, and other types of damage. The work can vary from project to project, so being adaptable and detail-oriented is important.

What You Will Do

Perform reconstruction work on residential and commercial properties

Hang, tape, texture, and paint drywall

Install flooring including LVP, laminate, tile, and carpet

Complete trim work, finish carpentry, and light framing

Read and follow scopes of work and project plans

Work with project managers to keep jobs on schedule

Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites

Follow safety procedures and use PPE

Track time, materials, and job progress accurately

What We Are Looking For

10 or more years of construction or remodeling experience preferred

Strong drywall skills and general construction knowledge

Ability to work independently and stay self-motivated

Solid understanding of tools, materials, and job site safety

Attention to detail and consistent work quality

Reliable, punctual, and professional

Valid driver’s license with a clean, insurable driving record

Ability to lift 50 or more pounds and handle physical work

Preferred but Not Required

Experience in restoration or insurance-related construction

IICRC or OSHA certifications

Experience working with digital scopes or job tracking systems
