Winterwood, Inc. is seeking qualified Construction Technicians to join our team. Under the general supervision of the Construction Superintendent, the Construction Technician will assist with project execution by performing a variety of hands-on tasks at job sites. This role involves general labor and construction support, with an emphasis on carpentry.
The ideal candidate will have basic carpentry experience, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Travel Requirements: This role requires regular travel within the state of Kentucky and overnight stays as needed.
Position Details:
- Job Type : Full-Time
- Work Schedule: 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM (Monday-Thursday)
- Compensation : $18.00-22.00 per hour based on experience

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Previous experience in construction or carpentry.
- Knowledge of framing, drywall, casework, door installation, etc.
- Ability to perform physical labor and adapt to varying weather conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
- Punctual, reliable, and dependable.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
- Willingness to travel long distances as needed.
- Successful completion of all pre-employment screenings, including drug testing and background checks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a variety of hand and power tools, including drills, forklifts, and other tools as directed by management.
- Clean and prepare the job site as needed to assist in the progression of the job.
- Perform general labor duties which may include but not limited to framing, hanging drywall, painting, hanging doors and windows, cabinetry
- Maintain a safe and clean job site by handling materials and storing them properly, picking up and removing all tools and equipment when not in use, and securing the job on a daily basis.
- Follow all safety procedures on the job site and report violations immediately to management.
- Load and unload construction supplies as needed.
- Assist other construction staff as needed.
- Other duties as assigned by the Construction Superintendent.
