    What will be my first role?

    Programmer / Developer:

    Programmers and developers are responsible for programming and developing software using various programming languages and related tools and frameworks, reviewing code, programming per the requirement, fixing bugs and quality assurance. In gaining experience as a programmer, they become responsible for interpreting architecture and design, code reviews, monitoring, guiding and monitoring programmers, ensuring adherence to programming and documenting policies, software development, testing and release.

  • Qualifications

    Required Skills and Experience:

    You are learning and developing the knowledge, technical skills and core consulting behaviors required to succeed in Application Services. You learn an appropriate methodology and acquire knowledge of either a business domain; a Package Based Solution; or a technical tool / programming language. You demonstrate flexibility and versatility in meeting objectives, and should be able to manage your workload and update management on task progress.

    Candidates for our Consultant position should additionally possess:

    • A Bachelor's degree
    • A minimum GPA of 3.3 of 4.0
    • Baseline skills in Business Analysis, Business Knowledge, Software Engineering, Testing, Functional Architecture Design & Project Financials, KPIs & Reporting

    Applicants for employment in the US must have valid work authorization that does not now and/or will not in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the US by Capgemini.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Exceptional performance in these majors or concentrations:

    • Technology: Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Data Science

    • Business: Finance, Supply Chain, Digital Leadership

    • Engineering: Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Management, Industrial Engineering

    • Skills and experience in these areas:

    • Technical Skills: Java/J2EE, .Net, C++, Python, Web Development Technology (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, JQuery, JSON), Database (Oracle), Responsive Web Design, ETL, PL/SQL, Hadoop, cloud APIs (e.g., a public cloud such as AWS, Azure, GCP or an advanced private cloud such as Google, Facebook), UX Design Skills, UI Prototyping

    • Functional Skills: System Analysis, Business Analytics (such as Power BI), Project Management, Testing, Technical and/or Creative Writing, Workshop Facilitation, HR Process Knowledge, SharePoint, Office365, Dynamics
