Job Description

This role will support the organization in providing project management services to life sciences companies and other institutions to advance life science products (therapeutics, vaccines, diagnostics and devices), primarily in the areas of public health and infectious diseases as well as other chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear defense threats.

Responsibilities:

Provide consulting services for LBG’s clients including, but not limited to:

• Routinely provide tactical support for day-to-day project and/or portfolio management activities such as meeting minutes, action tracking/follow-up, decision tracking, etc.
• Actively contribute to project and/or portfolio management deliverables (reports, dashboards, etc.) and routine updates (schedule, budget, risk), usually preparing initial drafts
• Coordinate across project functional areas and personnel as required to ensure progress of project activities
• Support the building and management of a team representing various functions and sites, including the management of multiple projects and teams across multiple locations
• Demonstrate and foster excellent teamwork, with the ability to navigate in different areas and work with multidisciplinary teams
• Balance project demands to support alignment/ realignment of Budget, Quality, Timeline and Scope, as needed
• Support product development meetings, and make sure all Project Leaders, and/or sub-team leaders, have all information and support needed to implement the project
• Focus on customer service, with agility and clear communication
• Adhere to LBG quality standards regarding client deliverables

Qualifications

• BS or higher in a life sciences discipline
• At least 5 years of experience in project management with a life sciences diagnostic development orientation
• Experience managing complex projects and understanding of project management principles
• Understanding of the diagnostic product development lifecycle, including quality assurance and regulatory compliance
• Experience developing Target product profiles
• Experience in launching diagnostic products
• Experience working in Low- and Middle-Income Country (LMIC) markets
• Fluency in collaborative project management software (including MS Project, or similar tools), Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Excellent written and oral communication, presentation, problem solving and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently or in collaboration with others
• Flexibility and ability to deal with ambiguity, and sense of personal ownership of deliverables and results
• Works well with teams, often comprised of multiple disciplines

Compensation for this role is between $77,000 and $126,000.

Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, and market location.

Office Workplace Guidelines

Consultants located in our primary market office locations—New York City, Charlotte, Seattle, and San Francisco—are expected to live within a reasonable commuting distance and attend the office at least three days per week.
