    Job Description

    We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Consultant to support engagement leads across a variety of client projects. In this role, you’ll work closely with experienced consultants to assist federal contractors with regulatory compliance, financial analysis, and research.     ** Responsibilities:**

    • Assist in conducting regulatory research and summarizing key requirements relevant to federal contractors, particularly in life sciences
    • Support the preparation and review of indirect rate structures, cost allocations, and compliance with FAR and CAS
    • Analyze financial data and prepare reports to support client decision-making, including cost projections, budget tracking, and variance analysis
    • Contribute to drafting client-facing deliverables such as compliance memos, audit responses, internal control documentation, and policy/procedure manuals
    • Participate in reviews of client accounting systems and processes to assess readiness for government audits or compliance reviews
    • Monitor changes in federal regulations and assist in assessing the impact on client operations and compliance strategies
    • Collaborate with engagement teams to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks, documentation, and reporting
    • Assist in preparing materials for client meetings, internal briefings, and training sessions
    • Maintain organized and accurate records of research findings, financial models, and client communications
    • Proactively identify opportunities to improve internal processes or add value to client engagements
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Public Policy, or a related field; advanced degree a plus
    • 2-3 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in consulting, financial analysis, or compliance within the federal contracting space
    • Familiarity with government contracting regulations (e.g., FAR, CAS) strongly preferred
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial and regulatory information
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; ability to create well-organized and visually clear presentations and reports
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to synthesize information for different audiences
    • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
    • CPA or CPA-eligible status preferred

    Additional Information

    **Compensation & Benefits **

    • Salary is between $62K-$74K. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, and market location.
