    Job Description

    We are seeking a full-time Consultant to support Sia/LBG programs across service offerings of Strategic Consulting, Nondilutive Funding, and Product Development. Specifically, this individual will develop forecasts and detailed financial and Cost of Good models, conduct market research, and synthesize data into executive-level stories and presentations for life-science and healthcare clients. We are looking for a highly motivated individual to interact with all levels of project and client teams. You will be expected to work with senior members of project teams to build work plans, guide research and analysis efforts, and develop valuable conclusions and recommendations, all while effectively managing time commitments on multiple projects.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide consulting services for LBG clients including, but not limited to:
    • Financial, business, Cost of Goods, and operational modeling using MS ExcelWriting and developing cost models and business proposals including subsequent support documentation for proposal submission to governmental, non-governmental, and commercial clients.
    • Make strategic suggestions based on data collected and knowledge of the market obtained through primary and secondary research
    • Perform in-depth competitive analyses across a variety of market landscapes
    • Work closely with LBG technical leads to establish innovative approaches to capture market and commercialize technologies
    • Identify and defend the market potential of a given product/technology/platform
    • Identify and communicate industry trends
    • Collate various sources of information into a unified, executive level story
    • Write and prepare well-referenced, comprehensive reports
    • Engage with industry professionals and interact regularly with clients
    • Develop and implement strategies that lead to larger value engagements
    • Prepare for, attend, and follow-up on business development initiatives, including conferences and networking events, in support of LBG’s service offerings and on behalf of clients
    • Actively engage in LBG’s knowledge management systems (SharePoint, etc.).
    • Adhere to LBG quality standards on client deliverables
    • Other duties as assigned to include but not limited to technical consultation on projects, project management including scheduling, timeline adherence and tracking, meeting agendas, meeting minutes and other project management activities
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum 2 years of experience in a consulting and/or life sciences biotech field
    • Demonstrated experience with financial, operational, or business modeling in Excel
    • Professional communication style and 100% dedication to client satisfaction and support
    • Experienced in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Ability to manage workload and perform on multiple projects concurrently
    • Ability to work independently and in collaboration with others.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Degree from an accredited college or university in a technical discipline and/or an MBA
    • Life science/biotech company Strategic Finance, Operational, and/or Cost of Goods modeling experience
    • Ability to conduct research, synthesize information and present findings or recommendations orally and in writing
    • Experience managing projects/understanding of project management principles
    • Knowledge of the biotechnology, medical device, pharmaceutical product development process and how to sell support into those spaces

    Compensation for this role is between $62,000 to $113,000. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, and market location.
