Fast-growing technology firm seeks a Financial Analyst to join their Los Angeles team.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing current and past financial data and performance and providing recommendations for improvement to executive management
• Assist with annual and quarterly forecasting and budgeting
• Increases productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools.
• Assembling and summarizing data to structure sophisticated reports on financial status and performance
• Develop, maintain and distribute as-hoc reports and financial models as needed
• Assist with analysis and preparation for monthly and quarterly financial reconciliation and reporting, including variance analysis with associated commentary and Board Meeting presentation material
• Analyze customer profitability, line of business profitability and track actuals to budgets.
• Gather data and report on various business units’ performance for weekly and monthly leadership reviews
• Partner closely with leadership to establish analysis and reporting metrics
• Identify and drive process improvements for the creation of standard and ad-hoc decks and reports

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, statistics, economics or related discipline
• 3-5 years’ experience as a Financial Analyst; investment banking or private equity experience a plus
