Global Professional Services firm is looking for a detail-oriented, well-versed Litigation Secretary in their Century City Office! The right candidate will have a minimum of 4yrs' experience with the following and more:
Responsibilities
- Will provide comprehensive secretarial support functions for attorneys and/or paralegals requiring knowledge of format, procedure, and specialized terminology relevant to the attorney/paralegal practice area
- Will manage necessary attorney communications
- Will create, edit, and process bills in according to firm processes
- Will prepare and process Proof of Service
- Will coordinate logistics of depositions, depositions, etc,(e.g. venue location, court reporter/videographer, etc.)
- Researching and obtaining a wide variety of information or documents requested by attorneys and/or paralegals using online or other research tools
- At attorneys' direction, preparing materials such as correspondence, pleadings, petitions and general forms
As a Litigation Secretary, you will be expected to apply your organizational and communication skills while displaying a positive, high-energy attitude. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary. Litigation terminology and basic knowledge of components/structure for filing of motions and/or applications is a must.
