    COMPENSATION: $100,000 - $120,000 + bonus

    ROLE:

    Our client has an opening for an Endpoint Systems Engineer specializing in desktop management and deployment. The Systems Engineer will work with other members of the Engineering team to develop and maintain our client’s endpoint computing environment.The team is responsible for all aspects of endpoint computing, including image development, operating system deployment, application packaging and deployment, security updates, firmware and driver updates, group policy maintenance, and virtual desktop infrastructure.In addition, the team must cooperate with other parts of IT in project planning, execution, and must serve as a resource to the Help Desk and local IT in problem resolution, sometimes involving after-hours work.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Monitoring security blogs and mail lists, as well as vendor web sites, to keep abreast of new security vulnerabilities.

    Packaging and deployment of Microsoft and third-party security and application updates using Microsoft SCCM, PowerShell, VBScript, and MSI packaging tools.

    Packaging and deployment of firmware and driver security updates.

    Maintaining AppLocker security policy to ensure proper behavior of packaged components.

    Analyzing security compliance of computers in the field using tools such as SCCM reporting and Teneble.io vulnerability scanning.

    Troubleshooting and repairing non-compliant computers using tools such as Event Viewer and SCCM Client Center.

    Working with the help desk and local IT staff to ensure full compliance of computers that cannot be repaired remotely.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    3+ years’ experience in a medium- to large-sized enterprise environment.

    Strongly prefer familiarity with Windows 10, security technologies such as AppLocker, BitLocker and antimalware products, Microsoft SCCM, VBScript, PowerShell, and packaging technologies.

    Also prefer familiarity with Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, networking technologies, VMware Horizon, legal software, and Lenovo and HP hardware.
