    Client is looking for an outstanding Senior Investment Accountant to serve as a key member of the accounting team to run the group's day-to-day activities.

    This hands-on role requires detailed involvement in US GAAP accounting and the financial closing process. In addition, the Senior Investment Accountant will provide the general day-to-day general ledger maintenance to the corporate accounting, including parent level investment fundings and distributions, intercompany transactions, debt and equity activities (dividend distributions/corporate debt payments), corporate consolidation and eliminations, financial analysis, and reporting.

    This individual will play an essential part in implementing ongoing procedural changes and automation initiatives in a fast-paced environment characterized by strict adherence to tight deadlines and dedication to quality control in all aspects of the process.

    Responsibilities

    • Prepare month-end closing journal entries, trial balances, and financials for the Corporate-level books.
    • Prepare operations flow of funds and monitor wires for parent fundings and distributions.
    • Timely review and approval of invoice payments
    • Maintain the accounting and payment of corporate debt and equity activities associated with common dividends, preferred dividends, convertible and exchangeable notes
    • Prepare elimination entries, consolidation, and non-controlling interest checks
    • Review and maintain corporate expense accruals, prepayment amortization, cash, and other key account reconciliations
    • Provide supervision, training, and quality assurance in the deliverables outsourced to third-party service provider
    • Provide ad-hoc reporting, financial and accounting support for new acquisitions, restructuring, and divestitures
    • Manage and maintain the close calendar
    • Responsible for the coordination with internal and external auditors

    Qualifications

    • 3-5 years of progressive US GAAP accounting experience
    • CPA preferred with knowledge and experience in US GAAP
    • Experience with the day-to-day general ledger maintenance
    • Consolidation experience a plus
    • Yardi experience preferred
    • Intermediate/Advance in MS Excel, Pivot tables, etc.
    • Knowledge of Power Pivot function is a plus
    • Positive attitude with the ability to multi-task and work effectively under pressure
    • Strong analytical, operational, organizational, and interpersonal aptitude
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Must be willing to work in a fast-paced environment and possess a strong work ethic with the ability to work extended hours during quarter-end/year-end and to meet project deadlines
