A global professional services firm seeks a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst to join their Los Angeles team. You will be responsible for the preparation of monthly financial statements, capital accounting analysis reports and annual audit and tax schedules.

Responsibilities:

• Analyzing monthly cash activity, including all currencies, to provide management with meaningful information on cash and capital activity and proposed cash draw amounts
• Managing detail partnership capital and income records, including capital contributions, income allocation, distributions, and capital purchases and sale transactions
• Managing detail partnership retirement plan details and providing ad hoc analysis for partners planning purposes.
• Preparing retired partner compensation reports and supporting partnership annual meetings.
• Collaborating with the broader finance management team on initiatives including annual budget, year-end reporting, and new report development
• Preparing monthly consolidated financial statements and capital accounting reports.
• Reviewing financial results, investigating any variances, and preparing explanations
• Classifying and summarizing financial transactions and events, and assisting in creation and maintenance of financial accounting procedures
• Participating and assisting in a number of special projects

Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or a related field is required.
• A CPA license is preferred.
• A minimum of five years of experience in increasingly complex accounting is required. Experience in financial reporting and modeling is desired.
• Experience in a legal or professional services environment is preferred.
