    Job Description

    We're searching for an analytically-minded and proactive Consumer Insights Analyst with 2-4 years of experience to support our Consumer Insights function. This role offers the opportunity to develop your research expertise while making meaningful contributions to Cricut's understanding of our creative community. You'll bridge support functions with independent research execution, helping transform consumer data into actionable insights that inform our product development and marketing strategies.

    Working closely with colleagues across the Consumer Insights team and other functions, you will execute research studies while taking increasing ownership of project components and smaller-scale initiatives. This role encompasses consumer research activities spanning survey design, fieldwork, analysis, reporting, and presentation as well as qualitative research operations. The ideal candidate will have foundational research experience, demonstrate strong analytical capabilities, and show readiness to learn and grow their expertise.

    Responsibilities

    • Execute research projects from design through analysis, including supporting study planning, programming and testing surveys, collecting data, conducting analysis, and preparing comprehensive findings with guidance from senior team members
    • Lead specific research components such as survey design and programming, research logistics for qualitative studies, data quality assurance, and preliminary analysis while collaborating with senior team members on strategic interpretation
    • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis including crosstabulations, trend analysis, significance testing, and qualitative coding; prepare charts, tables, and summary presentations that clearly communicate key findings and business implications
    • Support stakeholder engagement by preparing project status updates and research summaries, organizing research materials, participating in project meetings and readouts with internal partners, and helping translate insights into actionable recommendations
    • Manage or support research operations including vendor coordination, project documentation and timeline management, and maintaining organized research databases and documentation systems
    • Contribute to insight development by synthesizing findings across studies, identifying meaningful patterns and trends, and helping craft compelling research narratives that drive business decisions
    • Apply and refine research best practices through team processes and industry standards while contributing ideas for process improvements
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • 2-4 years of relevant experience in consumer research or related field with demonstrated progression in analytical responsibilities
    • Foundational research methodology knowledge including experience with survey design, quantitative analysis techniques, qualitative research methods
    • Technical experience with survey platforms (e.g., Cmix, Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey), Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables and basic formulas), PowerPoint, and statistical software (SPSS preferred)
    • Project management capabilities with proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines consistently, maintain detailed project documentation, and communicate progress effectively
    • Analytical mindset with attention to detail, ability to spot data quality issues, and interest in identifying meaningful patterns and trends
    • Strong communicator
    • Growth orientation with willingness to take on increasing responsibility, seek feedback, and develop new technical and analytical skills
    • Team player who prioritizes team and business needs
    • Exceptional self-management skills and high EQ
    • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in the social sciences; advanced degree is a plus
