The Consumer Product Coordinator will assist the VP, Consumer Products with planning, developing and implementing the overall company's consumer product strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Research and outreach to new stores for Passport Program
- Ongoing communication with Passport Program participants
- Facilitate stamp creation/shipment & update/maintain destination list for Passport Program
- Manage Consumer Product inventory which includes checking stock of merch/packaging, managing re-stock list, maintaining cleanliness of inventory space, and maintaining accuracy of inventory via Shopify
- Facilitate status of ongoing orders with vendors
- Search for new vendors for upcoming product ideas
- Update product cost tracker & vendor list
- Ensure timely submission and receipt of vendor payments
- Check Shopify orders for new and unfulfilled items
- Fulfill Shopify items
- Check Shop email for customer issues
- Manage data tracking across consumer products
- Coordinate with inventory department to make sure inventory on Shopify matches actual inventory numbers
- Update product images/descriptions and add new products to Shopify with appropriate tags
- Stay on top of shipping changes and charges
- Assist with Branding/Convention which includes:
- Update/restock personal touches: tissue paper, tape, thank you for ordering cards
- Update Passport Outreach email as necessary
- Assure the synchronization of brand perception on convention floor (i.e., appropriate banners, tablecloths, etc.)
- Make notes of pros/cons of convention set ups for future use
- When necessary, secure the booth placement and rental of additional items
- Ensure all public-facing merchandise items are seen by the CEO prior to convention
- Customer Service point of contact:
- Respond to shop emails in a timely manner
- Make sure packages are going out correctly and with some pizazz!
- Check in with Passport Stores on the program and their concerns/needs
- Pass along necessary customer complaints/requests to VP, Consumer Products
- Address issues brought up via socials (coordinate with Marketing Manger)
- Other ad hoc projects as company growth continues
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years experience in consumer product strategy or equivalent
- 1-2 years of entertainment industry work experience
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Comfortable engaging in high volume vendor correspondence
- Able to multitask and work within regular deadlines
- Basic graphic-design/Photoshop experience a plus
- Deep historical knowledge of film, both past and present, and love of film
- Ability to improvise and shift priorities as opportunities arise
