POSITION OVERVIEW:

As our Sr. Java Engineer, you'll be working with our team of extremely talented software engineers to implement new features across our websites and support our existing codebase_._ Our ideal candidate will have a passion for working in Java, Spring and Hibernate. Experience developing projects using AWS services is a plus!!

JOB DUTIES:

• Participate in Design and Code Reviews
• Act as principal engineer and lead small teams on engineering projects
• Design and Implement API Driven Micro Services/Web Services (REST)
• Design, develop and maintain software using java and spring framework technologies
• Troubleshoot production issues, analyze thread dumps/heap dumps
• Collaborate on application/ product feature design

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5-8 years working with JAVA - J2EE
• Strong abilities using Spring BOOT and Hibernate
• BS in Computer Science or related field
• Ability to utilize JMS & Amazon Web Services (SQS)
• Familiarity using Jenkins/Jira
• Understanding of Eclipse, Tomcat and GIT
