POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to perform and coordinate accounting duties within our organization. Our ideal candidate will help drive the success of the business by helping financial operations run smoothly and accurately inputting data to support informative financial reporting for management decision making.

JOB DUTIES:

• Maintain the general ledger.
• Perform account reconciliations.
• Perform other accounting duties as assigned.
• Create and review various reports supporting finance and operations.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly unaudited and annual audited financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
• Prepare workpapers and supporting documentation for the annual financial statement audit. Work directly with our external auditors to facilitate their audit work to ensure we meet our year end reporting deadlines.
• Support ad hoc requests and improvement initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s (Preferred).
• Experience with Sage Intact (preferred).
• Strong analytical and Excel skills.
• Proactive and self starter.
• Must be a team player understanding some projects may require extra hours.
• Ability to manage multiple accounting projects at once.
• 2+ years of accounting experience including strong knowledge of GAAP.
• Experience with internal and external audits, preparing PBC lists and narratives (Highly recommended).
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be a team player.
