INTERNSHIP OVERVIEW:

Our Software Engineering internship offers a wide variety of exposure to the different faucets in software development. This is an exceptional opportunity to work with and gain mentorship of talented Java Developers (front and back end), QA, DevOps, and IT Support Specialists. We provide the most up-to-date tech forward tools to practice and develop your skills with. Are you ready to become a ConsumerDirect Software Engineer?

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Front or Back-end Development of our white label products
• Participate in Design and code reviews with JR Developers
• Design and implement microservices
• Ability to sit with our Lead QA Engineers for learning and development
• Strong focus on Java and Spring Boot (think of it as a boot camp)

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Degree or pursing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
• Passion for software development, website integration, auditing work
• Willingness to learn at a fast pace retaining all information/knowledge shared
• Pursuing a career in Tech/FinTech in Software development, Web development
• Proficiency in one or more of the following developer skills: Java, C/C++, PHP, Python, Ruby, Unix, MySQL, Clojure, Scala, Java Script, CSS, HTML5
