    Billing Support Specialist

    Reports To As part of the Sales and Marketing Department, the Billing Support Specialist will report to the Team Leader of Partner Support.

    Job Overview The Billing Support Specialist is the primary owner of the Partner billing relationship. Works with the Team Leader of Partner Support and the Accounting Department on a variety of financial and non-financial tasks. Typical responsibilities of this role include ensuring all necessary billing databases are up to date, preparing month-end bills and invoices for B2B Partners, processing of incoming and outgoing payments, and addressing billing inquiries by email and phone.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

    • Coordinate all Partner on-boarding processes
    • Maintain B2B Partner information in accounts receivables and payables database
    • Process electronic billing for B2B Partner accounts
    • Manage the status of accounts and balances and identify inconsistencies
    • Ensure all B2B Partners remain informed of their outstanding debts and deadlines
    • Working with B2B Partners to research and resolve billing questions
    • Cultivate B2B Partner relationships by providing outstanding customer service
    • Communicate with B2B Partners through various channels such as telephone, email, and social media
    • Develop and maintain strong cross functional relationships with team members and other departments
    • Facilitate the completion of month end reports from entry to completion
    • Other duties as assigned

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • High school diploma or equivalent required with some college education preferred
    • Demonstrates excellent communication skills for a variety of situations
    • Ability to work independently and in a cross-functional team
    • Strong time management skills with the ability to change priorities
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on Excel
    • Experience with QuickBooks and Bill.com software or other enterprise financial system
    • Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant work experience involving billing account management and customer support
    • Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus
