The Yield Operations Specialist will help the Yield Team manage inventory and maximize revenue target fulfillment through ad performance and efficient campaign trafficking for owned and operated (O&O) properties and partner placements across multiple lines of business.
Support inventory management and optimization (ad units on O&O and external sites) across multiple lines of business, including forecasts and campaign optimization. Contribute to project to automate the monthly media allocation, intra-month placement recommendations, and ad platform decision engine integration. Leverage campaign performance data to analyze and identify new ways to maximize ad revenue and provide actionable recommendations to Media, Partnerships, and Sales teams to hit goals. Assist with day-to-day yield decisions, including evaluation of inventory volume, quality, pricing, and profit margin; work with Ad Ops to ensure campaign optimization is executed. Work with the Analytics team to build flexible operational and financial models to show the impact of the Yield Operations strategies. Partner with Media team to ensure maximum budget fulfillment, review media plans, and help advise direct Sales on what we can fulfill. Work with Sales and Media to identify potential areas of opportunities and risks with contracts and connect those with financial impact. Collaborate with the Data team to ensure all client and publisher information is available and represented accurately in Salesforce.
REQUIREMENTS
2+ years of yield operations experience in a digital advertising environment required Proven track record of partnering with Sales, Media, and Ad Ops to achieve optimization results Working knowledge of CRM and AdTech systems (Salesforce, DFP, Google Ads Manager, etc.) Strong working knowledge of ad network/ad exchange/DSP/SSP/Publisher preferred Analytical skills, experience with financial analysis, inventory forecasts and modeling preferred Experience in developing monetization strategies, inventory optimization, and campaign management preferred Excellent communication skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Excellent time management skills with a focus on execution, ability to juggle multiple urgent requests
